The experience of mapping one's own Personal Learning Environment allows one to organise their learning. It recognises that learning is ongoing and that there are many tools to support that learning. As Attwell (2007, p. 1) rightly suggests in his article 'Personal Learning Environments - the future of eLearning?', we have all become producers of our own learning through creating and sharing learning materials. These provide an ongoing record of our lifelong learning.
